This project consisted of over 85,000 SF of self-storage. The main building is 65,000 SF of climate controlled storage with three additional buildings totaling 20,000 SF of separate single-story non climate controlled self-storage. The facility contains a sales office, two elevators, and over 450 individual rentable storage units.
Construction of this facility consisted of a concrete slab on grade for all buildings and elevated concrete on structural steel decking for the upper levels. The exterior veneer consisted of a combination of EIFS and metal wall panels while the interior finishes include metal panels, drywall, and painted CMU. The floor finishes were a combination of sealed concrete, LVT, and ceramic tile. Despite running into over 2,600 cubic yards of unexpected rock that the preliminary Geotech testing did not encounter, we were still able to deliver this project on schedule for the owner.
