The Goodwill in Travelers Rest, SC is a 20,000 square foot facility that includes a retail sales floor, a job connection center, a training room, breakroom, warehouse sorting space, loading docks, and offices.
This project was constructed with a slab on grade, structural steel framing with joists and deck, metal stud framing for the exterior walls and an exterior veneer combination of 4" CMU and metal panels. Goodwill expressed the need to have this facility open by the end of 2016 and Boyer Construction executed the project in a manner that guaranteed this would happen. Construction was complete within eight months, from late April to early December in 2016.
The Goodwill Retail and Job Connection Facility in Lexington, SC consists of 17,820 square feet of retail sales floor, a job connection training facility, warehouse sorting area, and offices.
It was constructed with a slab on grade, structural steel, metal stud framing, and a combination of CMU and EIFS for the exterior veneer. The interior finishes included polished concrete, carpet, and painted drywall.
