Boyer Commercial Construction partnered with the Columbia Metropolitan Airport to deliver a modernized, expanded terminal designed to enhance security, improve passenger flow, and elevate the overall travel experience. Through strategic planning, phased construction, and close coordination with airport operations, our team executed complex upgrades within an active facility while maintaining uninterrupted passenger movement.

The project scope included new terminal construction, targeted interior renovations, and the installation of an advanced automated exit lane breach control system. The redesigned exit corridor features automatic double doors that create a safer, more efficient route for arriving passengers.

Boyer also completed several new post-security amenity spaces with a focus on comfort, accessibility, and long-term durability. These additions include a business center, wellness room, interfaith and meditation room, sensory room, and a public access porch - each thoughtfully designed to improve convenience and support a more relaxed travel experience.
