1890 Research and Extension – SC State University

The 1890 Research and Extension consisted of the construction of a 14,000 square foot, 2-story building in Orangeburg, SC. The building consists of classrooms on the first level and administrative offices on the second level along with associated support spaces.
The building was constructed with steel structuring components, metal stud framing, and a veneer combination of EIFS and brick. This project included integral and complex sitework that involved new utilities, storm drainage, flat work, and asphalt paving on an active campus.
